How to repair Windows Start Up Errors
Did you meet a Windows Startup Error? Such a phenomenon results from the fact that some of the important system files are lost or destroyed. If you want to repair Windows Startup Errors, you should first find out the corresponding files and repair them.
First you should take down the name of the program, file or service of the message where error exists. Then you should do as follows:

1. Start Run... type “Msconfig.exe”. Next PC will open its “System Configuration Utilities”.
2. Try to find out the names of the services or the files that you noticed in the error message. These names will be in the tabs, such as SYSTEM.INI, WIN.INI, SERVICES or START-UP.
3. After PC lists the file in the error message, you should restart your PC with Windows CD. (if you cannot find any file in the error message from any tab, it indicates that the method listed here is not helpful. - If you decide to use the Windows CD, you will be questioned whether you are eager for fixing or install Windows. In this case, you just press “R” to choose “Repair”, then press C.
- The Recovery Console will come out.
- Next you should choose the option to make sure that you can install Windows. Choose the Administrator account and then you should type in your Administrator password, and then hit the “Enter”.
- Then another Windows will come out, and you can select the SystemRootSystem32 folder.
- Then you should type in “listsvc”, and then hit the “Enter”.
- Then you should try to find out the name of the service or driver that appears in your startup error messages.
- Then you can type “disable XXXXXX” (use the name of the service to take place of XXXXXX), then hit Enter.
- A message will come out. Type Exit, and hit Enter.
- Take out the Windows CD from your PC
After these steps, your PC will restart automatically.
